INTRODUCTION
CEFTROZY-1000 is an injection which is used to treat a variety of infections such as urinary tract infections, ear infection, infection of lungs and meningitis caused by bacteria. It should not be used with calcium-containing intravenous injections.
CEFTROZY-1000 injection is used to treat different types of infections caused by bacteria such as gonorrhea which is a transmitted disease, pelvic inflammatory disease, meningitis (infection of brain and spinal cord surrounding membranes), infection of ears, lungs, skin, blood, urinary tract, blood, joints, bones and abdomen. Ceftriaxone sodium injection is also given sometimes before some types of surgery to prevent infection which may develop after the operation. This injection works by killing bacteria.
Antibiotic injection like Ceftrozy-1000 will not work in infections such as cold, flu and viral infection. Using antibiotics when not needed may increase the risk of getting an infection later that may resist antibiotic treatment.

HOW TO USE CEFTROZY-1000
Ceftrozy-1000 injection comes in powder form to be mixed with liquid, or as premixed to be injected into a vein (intravenous) for over a period of 30 to 60 minutes. It is sometimes given as a single dose and sometimes once or twice a day for the duration of treatment depending on the type of infection you are being treated for.
