INTRODUCTION

OMEZEE-DM tablet is one of the best medicines to treat acid reflux (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and peptic ulcer disease by relieving the symptoms such as heartburn, irritation or stomach pain. It neutralizes the acid in the stomach and promotes easy gas passage to reduce stomach discomfort.

OMEZEE-DM Tablet can be taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by your doctor. The dose your doctor gives your will depend on your condition and how your body responds to the medicine. Keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop taking this medicine early, you may get back your symptoms and your condition may worsen. If you are taking any other medicines, let your doctor know as they can react.

Most common side effects of this medicine are diarrhea, stomach pain, dryness in mouth, headache and flatulence. Most of these symptoms are temporary and usually go away with time. Do not drive or do any activity which requires mental focus after taking this medicine as it may also cause dizziness. Apart from taking medicine, lifestyle changes like having cold milk, avoiding coffee, hot tea, chocolate or spicy food can help you to get better results.

Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You should tell your doctor if you have liver disease so that your doctor can treat you accordingly.

HOW TO USE OMEZEE-DM

Omezee-DM is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Omeprazole. Omeprazole works by reducing the acid in the stomach which helps in giving relief from acid related indigestion and heartburn.

Omezee-DM may not be safe for use during pregnancy. Limited research and studies have shown that this medicine can have harmful effects on the developing baby. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding (Safe if prescribed)

Omezee-DM is probably to use during pregnancy. Limited studies have shown that the drug does not pose any significant risk to the baby.

Driving (Unsafe)

OMEZEE-DM tablets may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. This medicine causes dizziness and visual disturbances. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney (Caution)

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver (Caution)

Omezee-DM tablets should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor. This medicine is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
