This medicine effectively treats the bacterial infections of the lungs (e.g., pneumonia), ear. nasal sinus, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue. The exact dosage will depend on what the patient is being treated for, but you should always complete a full course of this antibiotic as prescribed by your doctor. Amoxicillin which is a major component of Amoxible CL 625 Tablet is an antibiotic which is used for the treatment of bacterial infections. Some of the bacterial infections that can be treated are ears, eyes, nose, sinus, tonsils, tooth, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract infections. This medication has also proved to be helpful in curing peptic ulcer disease. Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic penicillin (beta-lactam antibiotic) that inhibits one or more enzymes (often referred to as penicillin binding proteins, PBPs) in the body.
Clavulanic Acid, also known as coamoxiclav, is an antibiotic medicine used for the treatment of a large number of bacterial infections. Clavulanic Acid when combined with Amoxicillin, can overcome antibiotic resistance in bacteria that secrete β lactamase, which otherwise inactivates majority of penicillin.
