My12 Plus Tablets

INTRODUCTION

My 12 Plus is a medicine used for treating and preventing deficiency of vitamins. This one medicine contains several vitamins which are required by your body. There can be deficiency of Vitamin in body due to certain illness, poor diet, alcoholism or during pregnancy. This medicine is a combination of different medicines which are useful in giving nutrients and vitamins to the body.

Mecobalamin 750 mcg which is used in My 12 Plus is a vitamin B12 in activated form. This is used to treat some nutritional deficiency diseases. Folic acid and folate is also known as vitamin B9 or folacin. This is one of vitamin B. Folic acid is needed by our body for proper development. It is also involved in forming DNA in the body, which is a genetic material. Pregnant women or women who plan for pregnancy mostly use folic acid tablets.   

Alpha Lipoic Acid is also used in this medicine, Alpha Lipoic Acid works as an antioxidant for the body. Our body produces alpha lipoic acid naturally. It is an organic compound found in every cell of our body. Research done on alpha lipoic acid suggests that it can play an important role in weight loss, diabetes and certain other health conditions. Our body produces Alpha Lipoic Acid in smaller amounts so at times we may need to use supplements and medicines to get it when required.

Studies have shown that Alpha Lipoic Acid is beneficial for use in diabetes patients. It regulates insulin levels in the body and controls blood sugar levels. Moreover it can reduce the risk of diabetes complications. Using Alpha Lipoic Acid along with diabetes medicine can cause blood sugar levels to go too low.
