Zeefron

Zeefron is a medicine used to treat iron deficiency, anemia due to chronic blood loss, low intake of iron in diet. This medicine fulfills the requirement of iron in the body. Our body needs iron for proper growth and development. If you do not get enough iron from food then this tablet can cover up the iron requirement for you. It is used mostly during pregnancy and lactation.

COMPOSITION - Elemental Iron (In the form of carbonyl iron 100 mg.) + Folic Acid 1 mg. + Vitamin B12 5 mcg. + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate 25 mg. Eq. to elemental zinc 9.1 mg

Carbonyl iron:

• It is a 98% pure and easily absorbed form of iron which treats iron deficiency, microcytic, hypochromic anemia with no risk of iron poisoning.

• Carbonyl iron has a significant role in normal growth & development during childhood and pregnancy.

Zinc Sulphate:

• Regulates loss of blood by enhancing wound healing process

• Improves iron status in body, treating iron deficiency anemia

Folic Acid:

• Folic acid helps in making new blood cells and prevents neural tube defects. Folic acid is also responsible for synthesis of DNA.

Vitamin B12:

Maintains healthy blood cells and nerve cells

Iron carbonyl is a good iron supplement which is used to treat or prevent low levels of iron in blood (caused by anemia and pregnancy). Iron is one of the most important minerals that our body needs for the production of red blood cells and keeping us in good health.

Zinc improves the iron in the body and helps in treating anemia.

Side effects

Upset stomach, nausea, heartburn may occur while using this medicine. You need not worry about any of these but if it persists or worsen, see your doctor.
