Trexomune 7.5

TREXOMUNE-7.5 Tablet is a medicine used to treat rheumatoid arthritis where it can prevent further joint damage. It is also used to treat severe forms of a skin disease called psoriasis by killing cells in the skin which are growing too quickly.

TREXOMUNE-7.5 contains medicine methotrexate that interferes with the growth of certain cells of the body, especially cells that reproduce quickly, such as cancer cells, bone marrow cells, and skin cells. Methotrexate is used to treat leukemia and certain types of cancer of the breast, skin, head and neck, lung, or uterus.

Methotrexate is also used to treat severe psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis in adults. It is also used to treat active polyarticular-course juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in children.

Uses

Methotrexate can be given to people with various types of arthritis and related conditions, including:

• rheumatoid arthritis
• psoriatic arthritis
• reactive arthritis
• vasculitis
• enteropathic arthritis.
