Amoline LS Tablet is used in the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension. This medicine also helps to reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack. This medication should be taken along with proper diet, salt restriction, and regular exercise for best results. Amoline LS can be consumed with or without food at any time of day, although it should be taken at the same time of the day. This medicine may cause dehydration, so it is better to take plenty of fluids. Amlodipine belongs to a class of medicines known as calcium channel blockers. Medical conditions such as high blood pressure (hypertension), chest pain due to narrowing of the blood vessels of the heart muscles (angina pectoris) or a rare form of chest pain due to cramping of the blood vessels of the heart muscles (prinzmetal or variant angina) can be effectively treated with the help of amlodipine present in Amoline LS. In high blood pressure conditions, this medication helps normalize the blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels to reduce the pressure on them, which results in an improved flow of blood in the body.
Lisinopril, another component of Amoline LS, is a medication of the angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor which is helpful in relaxing and widening the blood vessels. This medicine is useful in the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure by decreasing chemicals that tighten blood vessels, lowering blood pressure so that blood can flow more smoothly and heart can pump blood better.
